Neighborhoods: Central Richmond, Inner Richmond, Jordan Park - Laurel Heights, Lake Street, Lone Mountain, Outer Richmond, Seacliff
Inner Richmond has a predominately Chinese population, and is dubbed as a "second Chinatown." It also has deep Irish and Russian roots. There is a good range of ages across the board as Disrict 1 attracts college students as well as families, working professionals, and older people who may be looking for a change in scenery. The location is also ideal as it is busy like an urban area, but also suburban in which it is quiet at night, has relatively low crime rate, and has good schools. Because of its location, and how Presidio is to the North and Golden Gate Park to the South of the area, there is always something to do or explore. According to GoodMigrations, it has a "good" rating for public transit, and "excellent" walkability. There are plenty of grocery stores, banks, and diverse restaurants nearby as well.
