District 3 is located in the Southwestern part of San Francisco and also encompasses Lake Merced Park, a lake with multiple golf courses and trails for runners, cyclists, and hikers alike.

The area has good access to lots of amenities like entertainment, shopping, public transportation, and has lots of little local cafes and other businesses. It's close proximity to SF State makes this area a good location for any college bound student. Due to it's location away from the heart of the city, it offers a little more privacy and quiet, but still is close enough to adventures and the city life.
